People are just not comfortable and do not have the necessary knowledge regarding the importance of buying proper chains, and they are totally intimidated when it comes to installing them. I, Catherine Smith, as a concerned citizen with a passion for safety and, secondly as a government employee with over 20 years with the USDOT/FMCSA, have had the opportunity to watch Mr. Martin's video regarding the above subject. I highly recommend Mr. Martin's knowledge, expertise, and instructions regarding safety and, his state-of-the-art video to be used as an educational, innovative tool as an answer to reducing accidents and, saving lives (although I do not have the authority or the position required in the government to endorse anything). |

I consider myself an expert in the field when it comes to driving on ice and snow. However, I believe Joe Martin has it down to a science with his course on chaining techniques and safety. What this video does is prepare truckers in advance with the expertise as well as experience of a man that has drawn upon years of close calls. I personally wish I could have had all those years of experience ahead of time to guide my judgment. I believe that this information is vital to a safer America. How could anyone be denied safer highways and a more productive place to travel upon? This video should be a must for all drivers of heavy equipment on our highways. |

After being approached by Excell PDT, I was pretty positive there was not much they could teach me about chaining a truck. After watching their program, I quickly learned procedures that will help me and my employees become more proficient . . . and definitely increase profit. |

I met Joe and learned about Excell PDT while driving in the oilfield in North Dakota. I have been driving trucks for 25 years, hauling cattle, grain, liquid co2, oil, water, and have ran over the road. I consider myself a good driver. I was blown away by what Joe was able to teach me in the first 30 minutes after we met. No one teaches you how to install chains, and I wasn't going to ask and look stupid! My years of barefooting through the mountains thinking I was a good driver for making it over turned to chagrin when I realized how unsafe I had been, especially considering how easy chain installation was with a little preparation, practice, and training. I still consider myself a good driver, only now I am prepared and confident that Joe’s training made me an even safer driver, something that will benefit any company I work for in the future. Thanks Joe and Excell PDT! |
